In addition to her notable choreography, Katherine provides private artistic coaching ranging in topics such as: performance quality/analysis, improvisation, choreographic composition, dance technique, skating/dance history, and strength & flexibility training.
Katherine works with skaters of all levels (Beginner through Senior) and disciplines (Singles, Pairs, Dance, and Solo Dance) to bring the most creative and memorable choreography to competitive performances. Skaters enlist in Katherine's expertise and artistic tuning to gain clarity in performance and increase their second mark at all levels, including Regional, Sectional, National, & Olympic; IJS and 6.0!
Always excited to work outside the requirements of competitive skating, Katherine's choreography pushes boundaries and explores ways to challenge the traditional figure skating framework and aesthetic. Katherine specializes in teaching performance quality, artistic expression, and style to competitive figure skaters of all ages and abilities. As a founding member of the 7k International Skating Academy, Katherine now travels domestically and internationally to foster the nation's top talent to produce current and future champions.
Katherine teaches a wide variety of classes dedicated to enhancing skaters' expressivity through movement and overall artistic value. These classes include:
