Katherine is an international figure skating choreographer, experiential learning designer, consultant, and entrepreneur. She started her career as a management consultant for Accenture but found sitting still for the 14 hour days nearly impossible. She moved on to full-time choreography work and yet missed exercising her analytical prowess. Frustrated by only ever being hired as “the analyst” or “the creative”, she began digging into cultural norms causing narrowly defined roles in the workplace. Assuming she wasn’t alone in craving a job that celebrated her love for creative exploration and her knack for rational strategy, she began designing and facilitating learning experiences for teams as a means to ignite creativity, play, and innovation in highly strategic environments.
Today, Katherine unapologetically bounces between choreography gig and consulting engagement- allowing each to fuel insight for the next. She is driven by a simple love for expression through movement and the irreplaceable experience of fueling discovery moments for others. She loves to study, hone, and teach the creative process (believing everyone deserves a creative outlet) and will never miss a chance to learn something herself or use humor to spark connection.
When not twirling on the ice or designing L&D experiences, Katherine can be found growing GOeSpray - an all-natural odor eliminating spray for athletic gear , listening to podcasts, or ever-so-slowly learning to cook.
